'Queer and Straight Allies at IISC' or QUASI is student initiative: a collective of queer(LGBTQ+) individuals and straight allies at IISc and sister institutes like NIAS, NCBS, JNCASR.
Vision
Make the campus an amiable and inclusive space for the whole queer community by acting as a platform for raising awareness about sexual and gender diversity.
Aim
QUASI aims to provide a support system for LGBTQI+ individuals who might be stigmatized due to their identity and help them in their struggle.

No, QUASI is not an LGBTQ+ rights group. It is a collective to provide a formal support system to queer students and engage in dialogue concerning gender and sexuality.
What are the activities done by the group?
QUASI hosts queer movie/documentary screenings, panel discussions, talks and give talks at various events. Furthermore, IIScQ conducts weekly meetings where the members could share their experiences and let of some steam with fun games.

IIScQ is a part of QUASI exclusively for queer individuals.
